Jude Okoye, elder brother and former manager of the iconic P-Square duo, has regained his freedom after spending more than two months in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The news sparked celebration, especially from Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), who took to Instagram to express his relief and frustration.
“Jude is finally out after 2 months+… all their efforts to frustrate his bail has finally collapsed. Welcome home brother @judeengees. And happy birthday,” Paul wrote in a story, which also featured a video of Jude’s wife, Ifeoma, embracing him upon his return.

Paul’s message carried a tone of veiled criticism, seemingly directed at his twin brother, Peter Okoye, who is reported to have filed the petition that led to Jude’s arraignment.

Jude was charged on Wednesday by the EFCC alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, on seven counts related to alleged money laundering involving ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. He has denied all allegations.

Though granted bail on March 6, Jude remained in custody until his bail conditions were fulfilled. His release marks a new chapter in the ongoing family and legal saga.
