Former Nigeria international Ifeanyi Udeze has advised Ola Aina to consider leaving Nottingham Forest if a Champions League club shows interest in him this summer.

Aina has been impressive for Forest, who are currently fighting for a spot in next season’s Champions League. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side is in third place and boosted their qualification hopes with a recent victory over Manchester City.

The Super Eagles defender’s contract is set to expire in the summer, and he has attracted interest from other clubs.

Discussing Aina’s situation at Forest, Udeze encouraged him to make the move if the right opportunity arises.

“Ola Aina should leave Nottingham Forest if a Champions League club comes for him,” Udeze said on Brila FM. “If I were Aina, I would leave because if he stays and Forest qualifies for the Champions League, what happens next season if they don’t make it again? So, for me, he should move if a Champions League team shows interest.”
