On November 9, the Adamawa State Police Command apprehended a 30-year-old man named Usman Inusa for reportedly sexually assaulting his daughter in Dikon Nasarawo, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of the state.
The victim’s father, Adamu Ahmed, reported the incident at the police station, prompting the Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, to order an investigation. State detectives acted promptly, leading to the arrest of the suspect, who is identified as a close family member. Further investigation uncovered the suspect’s alleged involvement in the theft of domestic animals in Nasawo Dikon.
The arrested individual is currently in police custody and is expected to face charges in court.
