On Friday night, May 10, a young man named Khalid Bichi was tragically shot and killed by unknown assailants. Khalid was targeted and pursued by these individuals before being fatally shot in the Maitama area of Abuja.
The deceased, known as @Khalid_Bichi on social media, was a staff member of FIRS. He was on his way to grab a bite to eat when the horrifying incident occurred. Khalid was rushed to Maitama General Hospital for medical attention, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
The spokesperson for the police command, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are underway. Efforts are being made to apprehend the perpetrators of this senseless act of violence.
