An arrest warrant has been issued for NFL star Von Miller, who is facing allegations of assaulting a pregnant woman.
According to a spokesperson for the Dallas Police Department, the warrant is the result of an incident involving Miller and a woman on November 29 around 11 AM. Security personnel responded to a Dallas-area residence following a “major disturbance call,” where it was reported that a verbal argument between Miller and a woman had turned physical. Miller had left the scene before officers arrived, and while the woman was treated for minor injuries, she did not require hospitalization. The 34-year-old Buffalo Bills pass rusher has not been arrested yet, and his management has released a statement on the incident.
The statement reads, “This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.” The NFL has also acknowledged the matter, stating, “We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time.”
Miller, a native of DeSoto, Texas, is currently on a bye week. His most recent game was with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in Philadelphia, where he played 21 snaps in an overtime loss to the Eagles. Originally starting his career with the Broncos in 2011, Miller developed a Hall of Fame-worthy resume with the Denver franchise before being traded to the Rams during the 2021 season.
