Prophet Gabriel Evans, a prominent figure in the Celestial Church of Christ, has addressed the comments made by Senior Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, who expressed his dislike for white garment churches.
During a service, Ibiyeomie openly expressed his aversion towards the worship style of the Celestial Church of Christ, stating that many would disapprove of their practices if they were aware of them.
In response, Evans criticized Ibiyeomie for deviating from the core message of Jesus, which is centered around love. He emphasized that a pastor should not harbor feelings of hatred.
Evans also pointed out that they have not labeled Pentecostal churches as fraudulent, despite the actions of some pastors within that denomination. However, he warned that he does not wish to be compelled to disclose the secret activities of clergymen like Ibiyeomie.
Furthermore, the white garment church leader highlighted that a significant percentage of Ibiyeomie’s current congregation, approximately 80 percent, had previously attended white garment churches. He further noted that 70 percent of them still seek out miracles from such churches.
