Suspected bandits have carried out a deadly attack in Gbauzokoyako community, situated after Ketti in the Kuje Area Council of Abuja. The victims of this tragic incident were identified as Adams Makada, aged 60, and his son Bitrus, aged 25.
The gunmen, who invaded the community in the early hours of Monday, January 29, 2024, not only killed Adams Makada and his son Bitrus but also claimed the life of another individual, Elisha Auta, aged 34. Additionally, the attackers abducted five residents during the assault.
Providing details on the timeline of the incident, Pastor Danladi Jeji, the Coordinator of the Original Inhabitants Development Association of Abuja (OIDA), stated that the tragic events unfolded between 12 am and 2 am. Jeji shared, “The late Elisha Auta is from Galadimawa, who went down to Gbaupezokoyako for condolences and the burial of his relation but was shot in the village by wicked terrorists,” as he conveyed the information to newsmen.
