Kenyan authorities have apprehended Brian Mwenda, a fraudulent individual who falsely posed as a lawyer claiming to be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Shockingly, Mwenda managed to secure victories in all 26 cases he handled before High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges prior to his arrest.
His apprehension came as a response to public complaints, with the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) taking action against his false pretenses. The LSK Nairobi Branch officially disclosed on their official platform that Mwenda lacks the legal credentials and the necessary license to practice law in Kenya.
In their notice, it was stated, “It has come to the attention of the LSK Nairobi Branch, via the Rapid Action Team (RAT), that this individual has been misrepresenting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and as a member of LSK Nairobi Branch.”
