Mark Dodson, the actor renowned for his voice work in “Gremlins” and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi,” has passed away at the age of 64.
The accomplished voice actor, known for bringing to life iconic characters in films like “Day of the Dead” and various video games, tragically died while attending a Horror Con in Evansville, Indiana. According to reports, Dodson suffered a sudden and severe heart attack while sleeping in his hotel room.
Dodson’s illustrious career took off in 1983 when he voiced Salacious Crumb, the mischievous creature perched near Jabba the Hutt in “Return of the Jedi.” His distinctive voice also resonated in “Gremlins,” where he portrayed the Mogwai, leaving a lasting impression on audiences worldwide.
