Nine Abducted Delta Students Regain Freedom

The nine students who were kidnapped while traveling along the East-West road in Ughelli, Delta State, on Friday night, March 29, have been released.

According to reports, the students were returning from their school in Calabar, Cross River State, when they were abducted from the minibus they were traveling in. Fortunately, the driver of the bus managed to escape unharmed.

In an update provided via his official social media handle, the spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed that all nine students have been freed. However, he did not disclose whether any ransom was paid for their release.
