In Lagos State, the police have apprehended a man named Emmanuel Ikoka for reportedly trespassing into a building undergoing renovation and stealing electrical wires.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the command, revealed this information on the department’s official handle. He emphasized the importance of securing construction sites.
According to Hundeyin, a vigilant security officer at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, caught 25-year-old Emmanuel Ikoka as he emerged from the building under renovation. Ikoka was found in possession of numerous electrical wires that he had removed from the premises. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
