An unidentified man passed away while at a bar along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway on May 15. The bar owner notified the Elere police division after discovering the man, believed to be in his 50s, unresponsive in a chair where he had been watching television. Despite efforts to awaken him, he remained lifeless. Police, upon investigation, found no signs of violence. The body was transferred to the Mainland General Hospital Mortuary in Yaba, Lagos, as authorities work to identify and notify the man’s family.
