Vice President Kashim Shettima lauded the ascension of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to the presidency, describing it as a reflection of his pure intentions and selfless sacrifices for the nation. Shettima made these remarks on Friday, March 1 during a meeting with a delegation from the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“The journey to President Tinubu’s leadership was not happenstance. It is a testament to a man who has consistently made sacrifices for the greater good of the nation,” Shettima remarked.
He emphasized that Tinubu’s success is a divine blessing, bestowed upon him as a reward for his unwavering commitment and noble character. Shettima highlighted Tinubu’s role as a unifying figure and refuge for those persecuted in the political landscape.
“President Tinubu has been a beacon of hope, building bridges and providing shelter for victims of political persecution. During challenging times, he stood firm and offered an alternative platform within the Nigerian political sphere,” Shettima stated.
