The “Wildlife of Africa Conservation Initiative (WACI)” in conjunction with the “Lagos Lagoon Waterkeeper (LLW)” is pleased to announce the marking of the “World Cleanup Day (WCD) 2020”, which is an annual global social action aimed at combating the menace of solid waste, globally.
The WCD 2020 is also directed at raising awareness of the importance of waste resourcing towards achieving sustainable development.
WACI/LLW is calling on the government, corporates, individuals and friends of the earth to participate in the cleanup exercise taking place this Saturday 19 September 2020.
