On Monday, the Nigerian Naira experienced a depreciation against the US Dollar at the Investors and Exporters window, with an exchange rate of ₦770.38 to the dollar. This represents a significant decrease of 16.19% compared to the rate of ₦663.04 recorded on June 16 at the close of business.
The open indicative rate for the day closed at ₦703.50 to the dollar.
During the day’s trading, the exchange rate reached a high of ₦799 to the dollar before settling at ₦770.38. On the other hand, the Naira reached a low of ₦461 to the dollar during the trading period.
A total of $78.03 million was traded at the official Investors and Exporters window on Monday.
