Actress Amanda Davies has passed away at the age of 42.

Amanda Davies, known for portraying the teenage version of her mother Erika Slezak’s character on “One Life to Live,” has passed away at the age of 42.

Davies played the role of teenage Victoria “Viki” Lord in flashback scenes, a character her soap opera legend mother, Erika Slezak, portrayed for over 40 years until 2013. Slezak, a six-time daytime Emmy winner for the role, expressed the sudden and heartbreaking news of Amanda’s passing on her fan club’s website.

The statement on Slezak’s website read, “It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of Erika’s daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Davies, who died very suddenly. The family is heartbroken and would appreciate privacy at this time.”

Entertainment Weekly confirmed the death through a representative for Slezak but did not provide additional details. Amanda Davies is survived by her mother Erika Slezak, father Brian Davies, and brother Michael Davies.
