The wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has been kidnapped from their home in the Arepo area of Ogun State.
The Ogun State Police Command responded quickly to the abduction, deploying officers to secure her release.
Reports indicate that Mrs. Odumosu was taken in the early hours of Friday, January 17, by heavily armed assailants who stormed the Odumosus’ residence, firing shots indiscriminately.
As of the time of reporting, the Ogun State Police Command had not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
