A 33-year-old man appeared in court on charges of allegedly removing his neighbor’s scrotum during a physical altercation.

A 33-year-old man accused of causing grievous harm to his neighbor by allegedly removing his scrotum during a fight appeared before an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.

Dominic Kenneth, the defendant, pleaded not guilty to the charge brought against him.

According to the Prosecutor, ASP Christian Okonofua, the incident occurred on March 1, around 12:20 p.m., at No 1, Abdul Rasaq Street, Balogun area of Ikorodu. Kenneth is alleged to have unlawfully caused grievous harm to Mr. Pascal Uche, his neighbor and co-shop owner in the market, during a fight by removing one of his scrotums from his private part.

The prosecutor stated that this action contravened Section 245 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

Magistrate Mrs. A.O. Onalaja granted the defendant bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.

The case was adjourned until March 14 for mention.
