Nigerian man Peter Andrew Adagadzu has tragically passed away just 20 days after his wedding. His death occurred during the early hours of Friday, September 29, 2023, following a brief illness.
The couple, Peter Andrew Adagadzu and his wife Blessing Christopher, exchanged vows on September 9, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. Unfortunately, Adagadzu fell ill just three days after their joyous celebration.
The news of his passing was confirmed by a friend named Agumson Mark Asele on Facebook, who expressed the shock and sorrow of losing a friend so soon after celebrating his wedding:
“This is how we celebrate your wedding day on 9th of September 2023 and today we are typing rest in peace. What a world brother, keep resting; we will surely miss you.”
Another friend, Beauty Natasha, expressed her grief and disbelief, addressing the sudden loss and the challenges it poses to Adagadzu’s newlywed wife:
“Uncle P, as I used to call him, why so soon, God, whyyyyyyy. Your wedding is not even two weeks old, and you just left without saying goodbye, leaving my aunty as a widow in a marriage that’s barely two weeks old. Kai, duniya, what a wicked world. May your soul find rest with the Lord.”
