Halima Amira Junaid, granddaughter of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, is set to marry Walid Shehu Mauzu in Kaduna State.
Halima is the daughter of Nana Hadiza, who married the former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), several years ago. Hadiza is Buhari’s daughter from a previous marriage and currently serves as the third wife of the AGF.
Previously, Hadiza was married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi and is a mother of six.
The wedding fatiha for Halima and Walid is scheduled for August 30, 2025, and will be followed by a series of pre-wedding celebrations, including the bridal soiree, Kamu, and a grand dinner.
Notably, other members of the former first family were absent from the event.
