The Federal Government has announced Tuesday, April 9th, and Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, as Public Holidays to commemorate the Eid-el-Fitr Celebration.
Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, conveyed the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, extending congratulations to all Muslim Ummah for the successful conclusion of the fasting period during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released on Sunday, April 7, Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, highlighted Dr. Tunji-Ojo’s call for the Muslim Ummah to embrace and practice the virtues of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, and compassion, as exemplified by the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
