The Supreme Court has set a date for the hearing of Atiku Abubakar’s appeal. Atiku, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the previous presidential election, is contesting the dismissal of his petition by the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) on September 6. The Supreme Court issued a hearing notice on Thursday, October 19, summoning all relevant parties to appear on Monday, October 23. Atiku’s appeal challenges the verdict in favor of President Bola Tinubu in the presidential election held on February 25.7
