Amid ongoing concerns over erratic electricity supply, President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the situation will soon improve.
He gave the assurance while speaking at the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Friday, March 27.
The President acknowledged the challenges in the power sector, noting that his administration is actively addressing the issue. He expressed confidence that electricity supply would improve, creating greater opportunities for industrial growth.
Tinubu revealed plans to inject about 1,500 megawatts into a new grid corridor through the Grid Asset Management Company, as part of efforts to strengthen the power infrastructure.
He added that the government’s programmes are already yielding visible and measurable results, stressing that the country is transitioning from a phase of mere survival to one of stability.
