President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria, specifically to Lagos, after successfully completing his diplomatic visits to Paris and London. His arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos was met with a warm welcome from his loyal supporters, taking place at 05:13 PM.

This timely return coincides with the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, also known as Sallah festivities. President Tinubu is expected to observe the festivities at his private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Previously, it was reported that Tinubu concluded his official visit to Paris, where he actively participated in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron. During his stay, he held fruitful discussions with fellow heads of state, influential global business leaders, and notable executives from renowned multilateral and development finance institutions worldwide.

Initially, President Tinubu was scheduled to return to Abuja on Saturday but extended his trip for a brief private visit to London, United Kingdom. However, he made sure to return to Nigeria in time for the Eid-el-Kabir festival, scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, 2023. A statement from his media aide, Dele Alake, confirmed this information and was signed by the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy.
