The Nasarawa governorship election tribunal has ruled in favor of David Umbugadu from the PDP, sacking Governor Abdullahi Sule of the APC. Two of the three justices, presided over by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, concluded that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s election was invalid. INEC had initially declared Sule as the victor in the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election, with 327,229 votes, while PDP’s David Umbugadu garnered 184,281 votes.
