Kenneth Okonkwo dumps Abure-led Labour Party

Nollywood actor turned politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has declared his suspension of ties with the Julius Abure-led National Working Committee of the Labour Party (LP). Okonkwo shared his decision on social media, stating his commitment to a new Nigeria and his refusal to align with what he perceives as corrupt and incompetent leadership.

 

He emphasized his stance on integrity over success, expressing disillusionment with the alleged criminality and corruption surrounding the purported National Convention organized by Abure. Okonkwo reiterated his departure from the ruling APC due to perceived incompetence and dishonesty, rejecting any association with similar traits within the Labour Party under Abure’s leadership.
