Six journalists have lost their lives in a motor accident in Gombe State. The crash involved a Hummer bus belonging to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and occurred along the Gombe–Yola Road on Monday, December 29, 2025.
Reports indicate that the journalists lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal accident. Several others sustained injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
Relevant authorities and emergency responders have been alerted, while investigations into the incident are ongoing.
