American rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about why she stopped attending church regularly after achieving fame.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford Podcast, the award-winning artiste explained that her demanding work schedule made it difficult for her to continue attending Sunday services.
According to Minaj, her music career began taking up most of her weekends, leaving her exhausted by the time Sunday arrived.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she said.
Despite no longer attending church regularly, Minaj stressed that she still maintains a strong relationship with God and remains committed to her spiritual growth.
The rapper noted that her faith remains an important part of her life, even though her busy career has kept her away from formal church attendance.
