The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, are celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary today, September 8.
Marking the milestone, Pastor Adeboye took to social media to thank God for sustaining their marriage throughout the years.
He described their journey as one filled with seasons of joy, challenges, growth, answered prayers and numerous reasons to remain grateful to God.
According to him, marriage goes beyond the beautiful moments, as it requires couples to choose each other every day, allow room for growth, exercise patience, forgive one another, pray together and continue to trust God through every season.
Adeboye also acknowledged the role of God in their home, saying His faithfulness had remained constant throughout their journey.
He expressed appreciation to everyone who had loved, prayed for and supported their family over the years, adding that they remained grateful for the journey so far and looked forward to what God still had in store for them.
He concluded the anniversary message with: “To God be all the glory.”
Pastor Enoch and Pastor Folu Adeboye got married in 1967 and have now spent 59 years together.
