Davido’s longtime manager, Asa Asika, recently didn’t hold back when discussing just how influential the superstar really is.
According to Asa, Davido’s impact is undeniable.
“David is probably… I don’t care what anybody says, I think David’s the most influential person in Nigeria,” he said during an interview. He highlighted how, even in private settings abroad, very few people are granted access. “The only two guys allowed in that house were Chris Brown and Diplo,” Asa noted, emphasizing Chris Brown’s close relationship with Davido.
When asked how he and his team consistently secure brand deals for the artist while maintaining his authenticity, Asa was clear that nothing happens by chance.
“I don’t think there’s a brand that has a deal with Davido today that isn’t aligned with his brand — or that we haven’t found a way to align,” he explained.
