Rapper and activist Falz has described the 2020 #EndSARS protests as one of the most intense chapters of his life.

In an interview at the #WithChude Live show in Lagos, Falz reflected on the emotional and mental toll the protests took on him but affirmed that he has no regrets. “I was taught never to regret doing what I believe is right,” he shared. “The sense of unity we all felt—it was monumental.”

Falz emphasized that his activism is driven by compassion and a commitment to humanity, rather than seeking applause or recognition. He also credited his father, renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, as a major influence in shaping his values.

Through his music and advocacy, Falz continues to speak out against injustice and police brutality in Nigeria.
