Galatasaray are reportedly prepared to offer Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes a salary matching that of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as they intensify their efforts to sign the Portuguese midfielder.
According to Turkish football insider Emre Kaplan, the Turkish champions have identified Fernandes as a major transfer target and are ready to make a significant financial offer while the midfielder remains without a new contract agreement at Manchester United.
Osimhen is currently Galatasaray’s highest-paid player, and his salary is expected to serve as the benchmark for the club’s proposed deal for Fernandes.
Kaplan said Galatasaray are willing to match Osimhen’s wages and meet Manchester United’s transfer fee demands if necessary.
“Galatasaray are prepared to offer Bruno Fernandes the same salary as Osimhen, who is presently the top earner in the squad. They will also present whatever amount is necessary for the transfer fee. However, I believe that the reports circulating in the English media are being utilised in negotiations with United.”
Galatasaray’s interest in Fernandes comes as the club continues to strengthen its squad, while the midfielder’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain.
