Fubara and deputy make first public appearance after House of Assembly initiated impeachment proceedings against them

They both reappeared on Sunday at a church service held at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church in Port Harcourt to commemorate the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

The service was organised to honour fallen Nigerian servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the nation’s unity and sovereignty, while also offering prayers for the repose of their souls and the protection of personnel still serving in active duty.
