Former Vice President Kamala Harris is set to publish a new book this September, offering a candid, behind-the-scenes account of her brief but historic 2024 presidential campaign.

Titled 107 Days, the book will chronicle what became the shortest presidential run in modern U.S. history, providing insight into the challenges, decisions, and personal reflections that defined her time on the trail.

“What the world saw on the campaign trail was only a part of the story,” Harris said in a social media post announcing the book. In an accompanying video, she added, “I believe there is value in sharing what I saw, what I learned, and what I know it will take to move forward. In writing this book, one truth kept coming back to me: sometimes the fight takes a while.”

Since her loss to President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, Harris has largely stayed out of the public eye, remaining in close contact with her inner circle as she weighs her political future.

The book announcement comes just a day after Harris confirmed she would not seek the California governorship in 2026. According to sources close to her, this move keeps the door open for a possible presidential bid in 2028.
