A tragic incident occurred at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso in Oyo State, where a 200-level student named Adedokun Olamilekan was fatally stabbed by unknown assailants.
The unfortunate event took place in the Under G area of the town on Thursday night, May 9, 2024.
Adedokun, a student of the Department of Information Science, was known to run a business establishment called Dcrown Unisex Salon at Under G. Reports indicate that he was attacked and stabbed to death during an altercation with unidentified individuals.
According to a source who spoke to Punch, Adedokun was stabbed by his assailants, who then fled the scene. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead.
The incident has been reported to the Owode Police Station in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, as investigations into the matter continue.
