President Bola Tinubu has vehemently condemned the vicious and brutal attacks that occurred in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State, resulting in the tragic loss of over sixty lives on Christmas Eve, December 24.
According to a statement released by Ajuri Ngelali, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, the President has instructed security agencies to swiftly intervene, thoroughly combing every part of the affected zone, and apprehend those responsible.
“The President also directs immediate mobilization of relief resources for surviving victims of the primitive and cruel attacks, as well as medical treatment for the wounded,” the statement read in part.
While extending condolences to the government and people of Plateau State, President Tinubu assured Nigerians that the perpetrators of these acts of death, pain, and sorrow will not escape justice.
