Rapper Future has asked a court to hold his ex-girlfriend Brittni Mealy in contempt, intensifying their ongoing legal battle.

In newly filed court documents, Future is seeking sanctions against Mealy, accusing her of violating court orders by allegedly leaking information about him to the media. Although parts of the filing are redacted, the claims appear to relate to earlier concerns that details of their dispute were made public.

The conflict began with a lawsuit filed by Mealy, who alleged that Future failed to secure a $500,000 life insurance policy meant for their 13-year-old son, Prince—an accusation the rapper has denied.

In his latest motion, Future is requesting that the court find Mealy in both civil and criminal contempt and require her to pay his legal expenses.

Previously, Mealy claimed that Future had not seen their son for more than a year and submitted emails from his team suggesting they suspected her of leaking case details. She has denied those allegations. The case is still ongoing, with both sides continuing to dispute each other’s claims in court.
