Rapper Lil Tjay has spoken about his past issues with Offset, alleging that their fallout began over a financial dispute.
During an interview on The Breakfast Club, Lil Tjay claimed he gave the former Migos rapper $10,000 at a casino after Offset allegedly sought financial assistance from people around him.
According to Tjay, tensions escalated when he later asked Offset to repay the money.
“Asking for the money back made him get all tough,” he said during the interview.
Lil Tjay also alleged that Offset later threw cash at strippers in front of him, an action he considered disrespectful.
The remarks come weeks after reports emerged that Offset was shot during an altercation outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on April 6.
According to reports from the FBI and the Seminole Police Department, the incident involved a large group that allegedly included Lil Tjay, who was later arrested in connection with the altercation.
Offset was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after the shooting and was later discharged.
Despite the controversy, Lil Tjay said he has moved on from the dispute and no longer cares about the money.
Representatives for Offset have yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
