The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has issued an order to discontinue conducting sting operations during nighttime across all EFCC Commands. The EFCC released a statement on Wednesday, November 1, stating that this directive came in response to the arrest of 69 suspected internet fraudsters by EFCC operatives from the Ibadan Zonal Command in Ile-Ife, Osun State. The statement further assured the public that the Commission remains committed to upholding the rule of law while carrying out its duties, and that the profiling of suspects would be completed without undue delay.
