United States Set to Deport 19 Additional Nigerians

Nineteen more Nigerians have been added to the United States government’s “worst of the worst” criminal list and are set to be deported.

The newly listed individuals were convicted of offences including sexual assault of a minor, fraud, assault, drug trafficking, and money laundering, among others.

A statement accompanying the list noted that the convicts were apprehended by officials of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and will be deported upon completion of immigration procedures.

“The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst of the worst criminal aliens arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,” the statement said.

It added that under Secretary Kristi Noem’s leadership, DHS and ICE are implementing former President Donald Trump’s mass deportation policy, beginning with individuals described as the “worst of the worst.”

Those newly added to the list include Adeolu Solabu, Oladayo Agboola, Chinonso Ochie, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Samuel Omorodion, Sunday Adediora, Sunday Kunkushi, and Mkpouto Etukudoh. Others are Marcus Unigwe, Kehinde James, Blessing Uchanma, Victor Adebisi, Richard Ugbah, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Okechukwu Amadi, Femi Jolayemi, Anthony Asanya, Izuchukwu Okoye, and Ebele Agbasiele.

The development comes amid an ongoing crackdown by U.S. authorities targeting criminal and undocumented migrants.
