SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, has disclosed that a woman tragically lost her life after being struck by a 22-year-old driver.
Taking to his official social media handle today, March 24, Hundeyin shared the heartbreaking details of the incident. According to his post, the woman and her three children were selling groundnuts along the roadside when they were hit by the driver, who lost control of his Mercedes Benz car.
In his statement, Hundeyin expressed sorrow over the unfortunate incident, revealing that while the children are currently receiving medical treatment, the mother succumbed to her injuries. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety in such situations, urging vigilance and caution on the roads.
