The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a young man identified as Yinka, following the sudden and unexplained death of his girlfriend, Bidemi Omole, at his residence in Esa-Oke, Osun State.
The incident occurred on Friday, August 22, when Bidemi reportedly fell ill shortly after arriving at Yinka’s home. She tragically passed away while still in the house.
Confirming the development, the spokesperson for the state police command, SP Abiodun Ojelabi, stated that Yinka has been taken into custody as investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
An autopsy will be conducted to establish the cause of death, Ojelabi added.
