“Your Career Is Over” — Trump Criticizes Media Personality Gayle King

U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a harsh attack on “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King, claiming her career is finished and accusing her of lacking the courage to publicly support him.

“Gayle King’s career is over,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “She should have stayed with her belief in TRUMP. She never had the courage to do so. No talent, no ratings, no strength!!!”

The remarks came in response to a New York Post article that questioned King’s future at CBS, citing low ratings and describing the show as “too woke.”

Trump’s criticism of King fits a broader pattern of confrontations with CBS personalities. He previously targeted comedian Stephen Colbert, whose show was canceled earlier this year. While the network blamed high production costs, Trump insisted the cancellation was due to Colbert’s “lack of talent.”

According to a CBS insider, “The FCC approved the Skydance-Paramount merger shortly after Colbert’s departure. The timing was noticed by many.”

Trump has also taken shots at other major media figures, including late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel, suggesting they could be next under his scrutiny.

Despite Trump’s attacks, Gayle King remains on air. However, with growing criticism of CBS’s ratings and Trump’s public focus on her, questions linger about her long-term future at the network.
