#OsunDecides2026: INEC officials and electorates flee as v!olence erupts in Ejigbo

Voting has been disrupted in Ejigbo, Osun State, following an outbreak of violence at a polling area during the ongoing governorship election.

Footage shared by Channels TV showed voters, residents and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) fleeing the area as tension escalated.

The video showed INEC officials and residents scrambling for safety, with people running in different directions and abandoning the polling area.

Motorcycles and vehicles were also seen moving through the area as residents attempted to escape the unfolding chaos.

The immediate cause of the violence was not immediately clear.
