Channels Television reporter, Joshua Rogers, who was kidnapped from his residence in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, has been released.
Rogers, who was forcefully taken away in a Channels Television-branded vehicle, regained his freedom at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, April 12. He emerged unharmed, approximately 24 hours after being abducted from his home in Rumuosi, Obio/Akpor area of Port Harcourt on Thursday, April 11.
The management of the television station has confirmed Rogers’ release in a brief statement, expressing gratitude to viewers and all those who expressed concern over the unfortunate incident.
