The bodies of six young girls, reportedly mutilated, were discovered on a farmland in Akirika Ukwu, located in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.
The disturbing incident was raised during Tuesday’s plenary session of the Abia State House of Assembly by the representative of Ukwa East Constituency, Hon. Lewis Chinemerem Obianyi, under matters of urgent public importance.
According to Obianyi, the bodies were found on Monday, March 23, 2026, abandoned on community farmland, triggering fear and panic among residents.
