Media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has shared that she would be open to marrying again, even as a second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, if the opportunity arose.
She made this statement during the latest episode of her podcast, Toke Moments.
“As independent women, do you think we’ve glamourized the idea of being independent?” she asked. “Yeah, it’s tough, I won’t lie. Let me break it down. Forget the cameras. At this point in my life, if I have the chance to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it.”
Makinwa further explained that despite her independence, she sometimes feels the need for support. “The biggest thing for me is, I am the boss everywhere, and that can be tiring. You feel like you need someone to lean on. Someone who can decide what’s for dinner. Must it always be me?” she reflected.
Toke Makinwa was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida. The couple tied the knot in 2014, but their marriage ended in 2017.
