Armed bandits attacked Unguwan-Zuru village in Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger State at approximately 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, killing one person and abducting two teenagers.
The assailants, who came in large numbers, shot and killed a resident identified as Danjuma Gambo, aged 45. They also kidnapped two 15-year-old boys, Ibrahim Danjuma and Paska Kokko, taking them to an unknown location.
The deceased’s body has been deposited at the General Hospital, Kontagora, pending autopsy.
Search parties have been mobilized to rescue the abducted teenagers and apprehend the attackers.
