Beyoncé’s latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” has quickly become Spotify’s most-streamed album of 2024, achieving this feat shortly after its release on Friday, March 30.

Following its debut on Spotify, “Cowboy Carter” amassed an impressive 76.13 million streams within a short span of time. This figure significantly surpasses the streaming numbers of her previous album, “Renaissance,” which garnered approximately 43 million streams on its release day. Notably, “Cowboy Carter” stands out as the biggest release of the year thus far.

Making history, “Cowboy Carter” marks the first time a country album has claimed the title of Spotify’s most-streamed album of the year. Additionally, it holds the distinction of being the largest debut on Spotify by a Black female artist to date.

Prior to the album’s release, Beyoncé’s single “Texas Hold ‘Em” had already achieved remarkable success, garnering over 200 million streams on Spotify.
