Rapper Famous Dex has been arrested on a domestic battery charge, according to official records.
The rapper was taken into custody on Sunday, August 23, and booked on the charge. Records show that he remained in a Las Vegas jail as of the time of publication.
The latest arrest adds to Famous Dex’s previous legal troubles. In 2021, he faced multiple charges stemming from three separate incidents, including allegations of domestic violence and illegal gun possession.
Two of those cases involved his former girlfriends, while another arrest occurred after police reportedly discovered a loaded firearm inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Dex was sentenced to 364 days in jail in September 2021. Following his release, he entered rehabilitation as he worked to overcome personal struggles and rebuild his life.
In 2023, the rapper revealed that he had been sober for 11 months and spoke about his plans to return to music, including a new instalment of his “Rich Forever” album series with Rich The Kid and Jay Critch.
Representatives for Famous Dex have reportedly been contacted for comment but had not responded at the time of publication.
